Rural, friendly and set within 65 acres of trees, Hilary is a generous and welcoming host with a big heart!

Our two comfortable first floor B&B accommodations are adjacent to the farmhouse with their own private entrances: The Cider Mill with oak beams and super-spacious bathroom, and The Orchard Suite with a small sitting room and kitchenette.

Our well appointed self-catering cabins are a new venture for 2025. With king sized beds, spacious living area, comfortable and well equipped, they can be booked for any stay three nights or longer.

And talking of ‘hearty’ – that’s exactly what breakfast is! Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, homemade marmalade and jam, sometimes homemade butter and baked goodies, as well as a generous cooked breakfast if you fancy it. Vegetarian breakfast is always available and please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

We may be a rural guest house, but our pub The Yew Tree, is just a 10 minute stroll away through the orchards, where you can also pick up a paper from the local shop or take a bus into Ross-on-Wye or Hereford.

Visit to embark on our self-guided orchard walk through our stunning 55 acres of biodiverse orchards, managed in a sustainable way without pesticides or artificial fertilizer, or even book a guided tour and taste ahead of your visit with our award-winning cidermaking team.

Broome Farm sits within the Wye Valley National Landscape, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is a great location for star gazing, bird watching (and listening), visiting the Malvern Hills, Black Mountains, Symonds Yat, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford and so much more.

Warm Guesthouse welcome with a fantastic cider cake, and two amazing breakfasts. Rhubarb compote on overnight oats was glorious. Mushrooms cooked to perfection.Room was large, comfortable, and with a high tog duvet to keep you warm and multiple windows for the deliciously cool night air. I think one of the lights was "out" meaning a part of the space was a little dark but overall a great room.Location wise not too far away from Ross on Wye with the guesthouse located down a single lane country track for a peaceful, agarian feeling plot.Highly recommended.

My partner and I have just had a fantastic stay at Broome farm. The room was lovely and very spacious. Hilary was a fantastic host, and the breakfast was amazing, as well as the cider cake! It was a great location for us for walking in the area. Some great walks just a short drive away. The Yew Tree Inn is alao does a great pizza - which you can walk to from the property.

Hilary and her team were absolutely amazing. Hands down the best place my partner and I have stayed while on vacation! The breakfast was DELICIOUS. Our room was pristine and well put together. It was my birthday weekend when we stayed and they prepared a lovely mini cakes plate for me with a candle. Was so happy and appreciated the thoughtfulness. There’s also a factory where you can buy cider..a family business that’s run by Hilary’s brother. I definitely look forward to staying here again and will tell everyone about this absolute GEM!Can’t forgot about their friendly dog 🙂
